1) Collection of Personal Information

Registration: Users may be required to register to access the educational materials. During registration you may be required to give certain information (such as name and email address. If you are a student, the student name you assign to your ImmuneQuest account cannot be changed once entered.

Other information from you: You may choose to provide additional personal information in survey responses and requests for additional information, services, or technical support.

Information from your computer: ImmuneQuest may also collect information such as: technical information about your computer system and internet connection to optimize the experience and provision requested services; internet protocol addresses; and utilization information including topic download information, session times and interactions within the application.

2) Use of Personal Information

Syandus will not sell or rent your email address to any third party. We use your Personal Information in the following ways:

Services: We use Personal Information to provide you with the services that you request.

Notifications: Syandus and collaborators may contact you by email to make you aware of additional free resources, services or information that may be of interest to you. Specific opt-out provisions are available for email notifications.

Usage Information: Syandus analyzes usage information and feedback to improve educational experiences for its users. Your ImmuneQuest scores will be posted with your username you provide. If you are participating in a course registered with ImmuneQuest, your scores will also be visible to classmates and the instructor. From time to time, Syandus may share information about ImmuneQuest usage with third parties.

Legal Requests: Syandus may disclose Personal Information when required by law or legal process, when necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of Syandus (and its collaborators) or when necessary to protect the personal safety of users.

3) How Your Information Is Protected

Syandus takes all necessary precautions to protect your personal information both online and off-line. When Syandus requests that you enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software or another security protocol, which encrypts the information you input.

Syandus uses well established third parties to manage software purchases. Syandus does not process or have access to any financial information you provided to the third parties as part of a purchase of ImmuneQuest components.

4) Links to Other Sites

As a convenience to you, ImmuneQuest may include links to certain third party web sites. When you click on these links to online resources, you are no longer in the ImmuneQuest application or web site and this Privacy Policy is no longer applicable.

5) Changes to Privacy Policy and Questions

Syandus reserves the right to modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at its discretion.  If we decide to change this Privacy Policy, we will post those changes within ImmuneQuest. Continued use of ImmuneQuest following any changes in our Privacy Policy indicates your consent to the use of newly submitted information in accordance with the amended Privacy Policy.
